1.1 The Chair welcomed Members to the meeting.

2.1 The Committee received evidence from Dr Nalda Wainwright, The Wales Institute for Physical Literacy at The University of Wales Trinity Saint David, Professor Simon Murphy, Cardiff University and Professor Mark Hanson, University of Southampton.
2.2 Professor Simon Murphy agreed to provide further information on the provisions available in schools in deprived areas that are associated with good outcomes in relation to physical activity levels.
3.1 The Committee received evidence from representatives of Sport Wales.

5.1 The Committee received evidence from the Children’s Commissioner for Wales.
